As the reference exhibition for packaging and intralogistics, ALLFORPACK EMBALLAGE PARIS intends to reflect the efforts made by the packaging industry through an ambitious CSR policy.

Today, the ecological transition is one of the major concerns of companies in the packaging sector, whether they use or produce packaging. Reducing the use of resources, encouraging reuse, improving the recyclability of packaging... these are just some of the initiatives they are pursuing today. As a trade show for all packaging, and with the aim of reflecting its commitments to ecological transition, ALLFORPACK EMBALLAGE PARIS is implementing an ambitious action plan to make the show a more responsible and sustainable event.

Stand & exhibitors

  • Setting up a responsible materials library for our service providers and decorators
  • Proposal of reusable and reused fully equipped stands to limit their environmental impact (on average -29 kg of CO² equivalent per m² than a bare stand)
  • Pooling and optimization of orders and transportation of equipped stands during set-up and dismantling
  • Improved recycling and reuse of materials used during the show
  • Raising exhibitors' awareness of eco-actions to be adopted in order to limit their carbon footprint during the show
  • Set up an inventory system during set-up and dismantling to support exhibitors in their waste management initiatives.

Exhibition & site planning

  • Sharing and re-use of spaces, structures and furniture between several COMEXPOSIUM exhibitions on the Exhibition Centre between September and November 2024, in order to limit carbon emissions linked to their construction and dismantling
  • 43% reduction in the amount of carpet used in the show aisles, and recycling of this carpet (saving nearly 1980kg of carpet, equivalent to 36,817kg CO²)
  • Provision of self-service water fountains at the show to encourage the re-use of existing containers
  • Use of electricity from renewable sources and overall reduction in the exhibition's electricity consumption through better monitoring of lighting and heating solutions, etc.

Employability & promoting  ecological transition

  • Creation of ALLFORPACK CIRCULARITY, a new zone entirely dedicated to 3R strategies (recycling, reuse, reduction) to highlight companies' strategies and best practices in this area
  • Highlighting innovations in recycling, reuse and reduction through dedicated categories at the ALLFORPACK INNOVATION AWARDS
  • Organization of a conference cycle focusing on environmental issues impacting the packaging and intralogistics sector
  • Creation of a matchmaking platform between companies and students, in partnership with Hello Work, to facilitate the recruitment of new talent.

Communication support

  • Dematerialization of visitor badges, saving around 175kg of paper and almost 70kg of CO2
  • Provision of cardboard badge holders for exhibitors and a collection service to improve the recycling of badge holders and neck rings
  • Printing on recycled paper or paper from sustainably managed forests for all show documents (catalog, maps, flyers, etc.) and reducing their production
  • Dedicated communications to raise awareness of good sorting practices, with the aim of achieving a recycling rate of over 45%
  • Restriction of goodies and raising exhibitors' awareness of the need to produce eco-responsible goodies
  • Creation of a carbon footprint at the end of the show, to monitor all event activities (digital, logistics, etc.) and propose an action plan for the next edition

Transport & Accessibility

  • Introduction of free shuttles between the Parc des Expositions and Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport to limit the carbon impact of visitor travel
  • Raising visitors' awareness of soft mobility (walking, public transport, carpooling, etc.).
  • Facilitating access to the event for people with reduced mobility thanks to the loan of wheelchairs and the setting up of shuttles serving the parking lots and the Parc des Expositions.
